At the end of November 2018, the Exhibition Hall of the Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Yuexiu Center is officially opened to the public. The pavilion was designed by Academician He Jingtang, the father of the Chinese Pavilion. It integrates planning, public participation, academic exchanges and many other functions, and it is currently the most complete exhibition hall with domestic functional facilities in China.
Located on the 4th floor of Yuexiu Exhibition Hall, a U-shaped interactive display screen has become a highlight of the pavilion. This special-shaped LCD splicing screen, using the latest infrared multi-touch control system, can provide visitors with multi-point sliding touch on the screen. It is composed of three sides, whose overall structure is U-shaped, and its both sides are respectively composed of 8 pieces LCDs( 2138 mm×2430 mm), and in the middle is 16 pieces (4×4) LCDs(4313 mm×2430 mm). The interactive display screen is controlled by multiple hosts with 24 touch points, which can be touched at the same time without any interference.
